“Into His Holy Presence would I enter now”. As ACIM students
we know that this invitation constantly beckons us; yet we turn away, still
willing to listen to the woeful tale of the ego.
I loved what Jayem wrote recently that ego is Edging God Out. I would go as
far as to say that most people edit God out completely.
When we don’t put God/Holy Spirit first, and by that I mean put him
in charge of our lives, nothing really works. It may appear to work, but the
love that is God is what ultimately sustains lasting happiness. We could achieve
great success, fame and fortune, but when we are alone and the party is over,
we are still plagued by all the demons of doubt, fear and insane desires that
keep the whole egoic structure in place.
The more we love God, the more we enter into the presence of Love, and the
more we are in the Presence, the more we love God.
There are many very good Advaita teachers at present on the world’s
stage, but so very few of them speak of the depth of this Love. Words are
so inadequate to describe Divine Love. Rumi said, “When I experience
this Love I am speechless; when I try to write about Love, my pen breaks,
and the paper slips away, as Lover and Beloved become one.
It has to be experienced. It’s like trying to describe what a strawberry
tastes like, it’s impossible, it has to be experienced. We can’t
be half pregnant, we either believe and trust in God or we don’t. How
true that there are no half measures, for when we remember to enter the Presence
forgiveness happens; no effort is required, vigilance is easy. The mind that
is like a hundred untamed wild horses gently submits to Love. There is nothing
it cannot give us. Nothing is withheld from Love, and we are in miracle readiness.
So how do we truly love God? Firstly we can tune into times when we have really felt loving, looking into the face of a newborn child, a beautiful piece of moving music, a lover, a poem, whatever it takes. It’s all in the feeling, dropping out of the mind, and its relentless dialogue. It is only with the heart that we can see clearly, because the emotional field is the only place we can experience anything; and all else is just thoughts about things.
Now we move to prayer, or what I call making God or Holy Spirit our best
friend. Notice the thoughts that keep us in shame and guilt, those secret
thoughts that we wish would just go away. We think that they are our thoughts,
and assume ownership for them, when in truth they are simply flowing in and
will flow out again if quietly observed. If we touch them they will bite,
and keep us in misery.
Give everything to God, all our shame and guilt. If difficulty arises, and
we feel we are not connecting, this is the time to be really authentic. We
could say” Holy Spirit, I really want to love you, but feel blocked,”
then tell God everything, every shameful feeling and thought we have. Here
we have a friend who will never turn on us or judge us; he is our anchor in
the stormy seas of life, and our most trustworthy companion through this dream
we call our reality. He is always there for us, never moving; it is us that
leaves His Presence; He whispers constantly to gently awaken us from our slumbers.
When we are in the experience of Love we can become frightened; the intensity
can disturb us, and the realisation that this feeling of Love is very different
from any other kind of Love that we have ever felt, heard or read about before.
This can be disturbing because it takes us into unknown territory, and we
may struggle to regain our normal state of mind; we may try to turn it off
or even panic.
This is when the Holy Spirit asks us not to move, we cannot run away from
God, where would we go? We each have different levels of readiness and are
called at the right time. If we imagine a whole field of daffodils, each will
open in perfect synchronicity. It only appears that people awaken at different
times, in truth it is all happening in the blink of an eye.
Life is only the memory of a dream, and someday we will come to realise how
meaningless it is to try to accumulate material things for our security, when
there is only Gods Love, and nothing else is real.
Let us build our house on the rock of God’s Love, and watch our temporary abodes that are shifting with the sands of time crumble before us; that we may sow our seeds in Divine soil, which will always bear the sweetest of fruits, when we give all of ourselves, body, hearts, minds and souls to the Beloved.

Even when you don’t believe in Me,
Even when you try to forget Me,
Even when you laugh at Me, or try to hate Me,
I am your most trustworthy ally. Turn to me, give Me all your troubles,
Take one step towards Me, and I will take a hundred towards you,
I love you, you are my own Self."
For many years I have felt called by love to become the mystical lover, to
relax into that love that is so complete and full that nothing is left wanting.
Indeed my prayer from my earliest memory was asking to be a messenger for
this love. My search has taken me into the presence of many awakened beings,
each perfect at the time.
I was introduced to ‘A Course in Miracles’ in the mid nineties.
Jeshua/Jesus was so familiar to me and his message of forgiveness helped me
to re-affirm my commitment. Then three years ago when my life was thrown into
a crisis of a deep personal nature, I cried out to God to help me to forgive
those who were appearing to hurt me. My mind and body were torn apart with
anger and jealousy.
It was at this point that my prayer was answered when I heard about a phenomenon
called Deeksha or Oneness Blessing as it is now known in the West. I started
to receive this energy on a regular basis, and was truly amazed by the transformation
that was happening within me. Oneness Blessing is cumulative in its effects,
although there was one occasion when a huge layer of anger was swept away
in one session, exposing deeper layers of emotions. I felt called to go to
India to become a Oneness Blessing giver, which I did in January 2007. The
process took me deeply into myself, enabling me to see how thought patterns
and emotional difficulties had arisen from conditioning going right back to
conception through early childhood. Gradually layers of anger and grief have
been replaced by a sense of peace and trust in the Beloved.
Meanwhile my commitment to Jeshua and his teaching appeared to create a new
dilemma. How could I bring together his message that ‘The Only Reality
is Love’ with the Oneness Blessing? My experience had been that it was
like beautiful fragrant oil that had penetrated deep into my heart gently
softening it, like a delicate bud waiting for the warm sunshine so it could
open to reveal its full radiance. I was deeply contemplating this one evening
just before giving Deeksha to a group when I asked “Show me Holy Spirit,
can I continue with this, can I bring these two together?” My answer
came when the radiant form of my beloved Jeshua appeared in my inner space
placing his hands upon my head and pouring the blessing into me. Waves of
bliss engulfed me. I knew then that this was his answer - yes I could and
would continue, and he would be with me, guiding me. People who regularly
attended this group really felt the power of the transmission. One lady cried
and said to me afterwards, “What happened tonight it was so powerful?”
I was overcome with gratitude that I had been clearly shown the way forward.
I could now offer Oneness Blessing in combination with Jeshua’s teachings.
There is an urgent invitation now, calling us ever deeper into our hearts, to really experience this love, this presence, which has been waiting for our return since that tiny mad idea that we are, or ever could be separate from God.
What is the Oneness Blessing (Deeksha)?
The word Deeksha is a Sanskrit word, meaning transmission of an intelligent
energy, that works individually with each one of us. This energy from Source
can help open our hearts, deepening our inner fulfilment, leading us to a
state of oneness. It’s a global phenomenon, and people from all cultures,
religions and backgrounds may receive it, as it requires no faith or belief.
This intelligent energy can help us to change our perception of life, moving us into a more compassionate and loving space; in time, enabling us to perceive the absolute truth that ‘Only Love Is Real’.

that any emotion, no matter what it is, when fully experienced becomes bliss.”

Each of us longs to have more love in our lives, fulfilling harmonious relationships, a sense of peace and contentment, and a kinship with all of our brothers and sisters. We isolate ourselves through our thinking, feeling alienated and alone, not realising that in every moment there is a simple choice to choose love over fear.
Our choosing fear is linked with shame and guilt over our separation from God , and when we start to peel away the layers, like an onion skin, we will gently feel the awareness of Love’s Presence. All we need is a willingness to go there, to expose and experience the emotions which bind us.
These deeply-rooted beliefs are linked to experiences right back from conception through to early childhood, and other lifetimes. They are not who we really are, which is simply Love.
We are constantly invited to return home to this simple awareness, but we allow our fearful thoughts to dominate, thus creating more of the same in our lives, so perpetuating our suffering. It is our perception that needs to change, as suffering is not in the experience, but in our perception of it. What are we choosing in every moment? That is the only question we need to ask ourselves.
Living in the awareness of Love is simple with practice, and when we allow its full expression it will sing its song to us. This song will echo through every cell of our bodies, transforming our lives and the way we see ourselves and others. We come to recognise that it is Love which holds all of creation in the palm of its hand.
The Oneness Blessing comes to us now at a time of great opportunity. This beautiful divine energy when received regularly, allows us to pierce ever more deeply the veils of unconsciousness which would have us believe that we are not wholly loved, lovable and loving.
This transmission (Deeksha in Sanskrit) is an intelligent energy, divinely tailored for each individual, helping us to change our perception of life, moving us into a more compassionate and loving space, for ourselves and others

I use the Oneness Blessing to enhance my work, helping people to release the
blocks which prevent their experience of Love’s Presence - together
we begin to untie the knots and traumas which cause us to believe that we
are separate from our source.
We are living under a spell, and have taken on the role of helpless victims in this world of time and space. Why? Because of a tiny mad idea that we are separate from God. What an insane idea- born of a split mind! We can just as easily throw off this notion of victimhood and say "I've had enough of this. I will now renounce all of the insane ideas that I used to have, that have kept me in pain and misery. What have I got to lose? How many lifetimes have I spent dreaming this dream of separation, pretending that I am a helpless wretch, not fit to eat the crumbs from under God's table; when in truth I am the magnificent radiance of Love, and have never left God's Kingdom".
We need to ask ourselves some honest questions, " What am I really afraid of, and why am I insisting that I am other than the truth of Love? Is it because I am afraid of standing out from the crowd? Can I imagine someone asking me who I am? Would my reply be " I am Love"? If the answer is, "No! I could not possibly declare that: what would people think of me"?, then we need to go deeper inside to explore what is blocking our perceptions of ourselves. Can we really trust the opinions of others whose minds are so entrenched in illusions and fear? At this point let us be reminded of a quote from ACIM which encapsulates it all.
"'Then let the Son of God awaken from his sleep, and opening his Holy eyes, return again to bless the world he made. In error it began, but it will end in the reflection of his holiness. And he will sleep no more the dream of death. Then join with me today. Your glory is the light that saves the world. Do not withhold salvation longer. Look about the world and see the suffering there. Is not your heart willing to bring your weary brothers rest? They must await your own release. They stay in chains till you are free. They cannot see the mercy of the world,until you find it in yourself. They suffer pain until you have denied its hold on you. They die till you accept your own eternal life. You are the Holy Son of God Himself. Remember this and all the world is free. Remember this, and earth and Heaven are one."
We have created our own prison; we are our own jailor. The key is hanging right in front of us. How long will we watch its reflection dancing around our jail cells. When will we simply take it and put it into the ancient lock, turn it and walk out to freedom. My journey has been from the deepest pain and despair to the experience of exquisite Love. There was a point when everything just dropped away, and I knew "I am Love", and every cell in my body knew in an instant.Since then my heart has continued to open. Sometimes it feels like golden butter, melting, melting. " When a tiny drop of Love trickles down the melting heart, the Angels in Heaven come down to count it; no drop of precious Love is ever wasted" Maharishi Mahesh Yogi from 'Love and God'.
The Oneness Blessing comes to us at a time of great need. The hour is upon us; what will we choose? We can either stay stuck in our old fearful patterns or choose the path of Love and surrender. The Blessing broke my heart open. My love for Christ and that which I am was really able to shine through because I had stopped resisting the release of stuck energy, such as anger, resentment and shame etc., in my body. Most of these stuck emotions originate in childhood, mainly from our relationships with our parents. These emotions need to be fully experienced and released before we can fully embrace the Christ Mind, and live this love. The blessing can be compared to Divine fuel which our body vehicles need to help accelerate our awakening.
In truth what have we been seeking? There is nothing to find, we cannot seek for Love, for that is what we are. It is important to uncover all that is false in ourselves. We have this supreme power of choice: Love or fear in any moment.
