Having felt the call of Love for many years, I am now listening to its voice moment by moment, inspiring me to reach out to help others to understand that they are this Love.
My first spiritual experience was over 25 years ago and it happened when
I asked: "If I were to experience God, what form would that take?"
Instantly I had an overwhelming sense of the presence of Jesus in the room
accompanied by great peace and love, showing me that Love’s way is possible.
Since then, God (Love) has manifested itself to me in many forms as Sai Baba,
St Francis of Assisi and various Advaita teachers. After this, my ever-racing
monkey mind didn’t go away but this still small voice for Love kept
calling me home. However, I was still too caught up in my own drama to really
stop and listen.
I was terrified of abandonment and guess what? My 20-year marriage ended and
I was forced to face myself and all my fears.
Gradually after receiving many Oneness Blessings I noticed a transformation happening - and eventually I was able to finally take Love’s hand. The transition from longing for Love to the realisation that I am an embodiment of Love happened very gently. It was subtle, everything changed, and yet nothing changed. The mystery of this love continues to deepen.
My Inspiration has been "A Course in Miracles", which came into my life in 1992. I also work closely with “Way of Mastery” which embodies the same principles as ACIM, but some people may find it simpler to understand. My work is to help people to get in touch with the Presence of Love within each of them - to find their own Divine guidance, because all teachings that remain as concepts in our minds are worthless, and eventually must drop into the heart to be fully lived.
When we choose to serve the Presence of Love, we come to know it is this
Presence in which we can have complete trust. My life is in complete service
to Love, that I may be a perfect instrument whereby love flows unimpeded through
this vehicle of my body, touching all. I now understand the words of the great
mystic Rumi: “When I experience this Love I am speechless, my pen
breaks and the paper slips away, as Lover and Beloved are one”.
God's Love is the only Reality, all else is illusion. This is the mantra which
is constantly in my mind, a powerful armour against any negativity which may
arise.
